Eclipse IDE Eclipse is an Open source IDE along the lines of Microsoft Visual Studeio if you need a comparison. The difference is it works with all sorts of programming languages, there are add on modules, syntax highlight, direct FTP saving to remote servers! ....and there are even GUI tools available for Rapid application development (need appropriate programming language specific modules to get these kinds of features but they are out there.. some free some not) |
