Now I came out with, and named this piece LONG before the Guitar Hero game came out... and it's just a piece I found challenging to play when I wrote it. I don't think it's awesome, but technically at least, it used to be difficult for me to play.

Great Day is probably the happiest song I've ever written! It was inspired by a day where I had my guitar in hand, I was at the park while it was still early and the sun was out. I was surrounded by friends, and there was a line of folks waiting to get into the Manchester CT library for a book sell off happening that day.

Well, I was just in a great mmod, got a coffee and had a nice ego boosting moment with a women at the conveniance store.. nothing big... but her eyes were quite warm to me, and I thought she was all that and a cup of tea so...

D-Metal is an experiment with "Drop D" guitar tuning. I have this cool "dual guitar" solot thing near the end but I lost my original mixes and was unable to make the "fade out" correct but I still like it.

You see, I was having a discussion with someone about DROP-D guitar tuning and I was getting teased by not playing in this non-standard way of tuning for my pieces. Now I like drop-d tuning just fine... but I use what ever is called for... at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Dark Vein is an attempt at making theme music which I just find fascinating. Like for movies, or plays... no lyrics... well this one attempts to come off with a dark sound mixing some orchestral music with some distorted electric guitar.
